People of the Cup

We are people of the cup. Each time we gather to celebrate the Eucharist, we drink from the cup of the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the cup of the new covenant, the cup of salvation, the cup of suffering, the cup pf mercy, the cup of hope and the cup of thanksgiving. It is the cup that transforms those who drink of it from mere mortals unto vessels of divinity.

When we drink of the cup of the Precious Blood, the blood of Christ flows through our arteries and vines. We are changed forever. God dwells in us.
